How do I use the posting board?
Instructions are available through EZboard. All the pretty links across the top of the board can help you out - or you can just ask! If you are starting a new thread, make sure that you are in the right forum and that a thread on the same topic has not already been started.

What are the different forums?

Welcome Amberholics - Please introduce yourself! This forum is pretty straightforward.

Essentially Amber - Topics related to Amber such as upcoming signings, news and articles go here. Please do not ask nor post any personal information about Amber. Little Willow will delete any threads that invade Amber's privacy or are offensive towards Amber.

Tara Readings - Topics related to the character of Tara go here. There is also a thread called FX Rerun Discussion which covers all of the seasons and characters. The Taco Tara Thread alters quotes from any BtVS character. Each BtVS episode from Season 4 - Season 7 has its own thread.

Off-Topic - Anything that does not fit in the three main forums goes here. If you are a new poster, we recommend that you browse through the OT forum before posting there.
- We have popular threads with multiple pages such as Word Association, A Child Believes (song lyrics), Weapon of Choice (this or that), Song Dedications, and Recommendations.
- The Fantasy Film League is a fun and free competition that everyone is invited to take part in. Learn more about the Fantasy Film League, then create your film and enter it into the database. After you've created your film, sign up for the Amberholics Little League aka the All Amberican League: Amberholic Ambition - league number: 223 - password: essence After you've signed in and signed up, post your movie's title and star roster in the appropriate season thread in the Off-Topic forum.
- In the Random Thoughts thread, you may reply to a great deal of people in one post. Please use the Random Thoughts thread instead of starting another one-line topic. Also use Random Thoughts to rant or rave about something personal.
- The FAQ Updates thread will detail all of the new additions and upgrades to the board features. You may also test your signature, avatar and so forth in this thread. Please make your signature short and sweet - perhaps 2-4 lines, with 1-2 small images permitted.

How can I get funky titles under my name?
You need to register! Go here to do so. Once you've done that, after every 25 posts, your title will change. Here is the list of current titles.

How can I get an Amberholic email address?
If you want an email address ending in @amberholics.com please alert Nick by posting here.

How can I use a custom avatar?
Login at EZboard.com - then click into your control center and edit your profile. Enter the picture or avatar URL in the section that says "Personal Photo" and click the box to use it. Need more information?

How can I use emoticons and smilies?
Try the Essence custom smilies.

When and where are chats held?
Our chat room is open 24 hours a day. We hold group chats twice a week - Wednesdays at 5 PM PST / 7 PM CST / 8 PM EST and on Sundays at 12 PM PST / 2 PM CST / 3 PM EST. Thanks to Julie and GoodChatting for hosting our chat room.

Does Amber read the board?
She has lurked and posted at the board. She visits both The Essence of Amber and Amberholics websites.

How is Amber involved in Essence?
The Essence of Amber is the only site supported and approved by Amber herself. She tells Little Willow the latest news and happenings in her life and career. Essence is her site, her heart, her soul, from Amber to each and every one of you.

How do I find out if there are Amber fans near me?
Browse around the site you are visiting now: Amberholics. Fans are listed by continent, with their web sites if they have them. You can contact them through there, or just post a thread in the Off Topic forum.

What else should I know?
Please don't ask for or post personal information about other posters. Do not attack ("bashing" or "flaming" in internet terms) other posters. If you click into a user's EZboard profile, many people have email and/or private message options available. If you are bored and/or you want to chat back and forth in real time, please do not use the board as a chat room. You have many other options: personal emails, private messages, instant messages (AIM, ICQ, etcetera) and our chat room.
